AAU Wrestling raising money for The Wounded Warrior Project
Wrestling is a tight knit community, one of many things it shares with the members of The Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP). AAU Wrestling is joining the fight and working with WWP to help ensure a better future of these wounded men, women, and their families.
WWP provides vital support for our nation’s injured veterans, ensuring that wounded warriors never pay a penny to receive the life-changing resources they need. These men and women have given up so much to ensure our freedom, and some have had to pay the ultimate price. Many have returned from overseas with lifelong injuries or circumstances that will make daily activities challenging. Donations will help make lasting impacts in the lives of wounded warriors and their families.
The Wounded Warrior Project® Corporate Supporter giving program is a way for businesses, like AAU Wrestling, to provide critical support to our nation's injured veterans. Currently, thanks to the efforts of SEAAU Wrestling, Seymour AAU Wrestling Club, 2024 Spring Youth Nationals, the Elementary National Duals, Middle School National Duals, Freshman/Sophomore National Duals, and some individual donors, we have raised over $2,050.00 for WWP. The WWP will be represented at the 2024 AAU Scholastic Duals in Fort Lauderdale, with the goal of hitting their target campaign amount and beyond.
